Making Love your Priority

When the lovely, Luanne Mareen, in her Answering the Call of Your Purpose series, interviewed me recently, she prompted me to ponder my purpose. It did make me contemplate what led me to do what I do.

I really believe our 'purpose' is more simple than we think. It's just the avenue or the pathway through which we live that purpose that can vary, according to our life circumstances. Whether it be being a mother, father, caregiver, business owner, an employee in an industry you love, or simply retired, when you are on-purpose in your life, you will feel inspired.

Even though this interview is not about relationships per se, we cover quite a bit on relationships and love, through my own personal sharing. One theme that did evolve organically, was one of leaving a relationship, why we stay, what makes us make that final choice if we do. I speak to the question, 'what is loving for me?', not asking that question in the selfish sense but as a guide to inner knowing. Because long-term compromise can have its consequences.

To be fair, I really am in the business of keeping relationships together. And everything I do is to preserve or resurrect a nourishing mutually loving relationship. But one can not dismiss the reality that not all relationships are here to stay. And I am often in contact with clients who are at that threshold, sadly.

Nothing about relationships is ever simple and straightforward and there are many layers to a choice to leave or stay. I've been both the leaver and the left, and neither one escapes the pain and suffering of it. It's just what you do with that and how you move forward from that that can make all the difference.

We also covered themes such as childbirth, making love after birth, how a woman's body changes through her life, and male and female conditioning in sexuality. I should point out that I always generalise when I speak about male and female sexuality. So if it doesn't apply to you, then let it go.

Luanne is such a warm and engaging interviewer and offers the most unusual thing, Hand Analysis, ie. what the blueprint of your hand markings says about your life and what natural gifts you have. It's quite amazing. Luanne supports women in business and is a great coach. You can view her website here.

Sit back, grab a cuppa and I hope you enjoy hanging out with us for 30 minutes or so...
