The Retreat is held at Noosa Springs Spa Resort, Queensland, Australia. This is a private location tucked away resort that is flanked by the bush of Noosa National Park and on the shores of Lake Weyba. Noosa is a stunning, sought-after holiday destination, just 5 minutes away.

The Retreat is a 6-day retreat. It runs from early Sunday afternoon starting at 2.30 pm to the following Saturday lunch (6 nights).

To settle in, Janet suggests you arrive the day before and stay for 1 or 2 nights after. Bookings for accommodation outside the 6-day retreat must be made directly with Noosa Springs Resort. Ph 07- 5440 3333

You can book into your apartment from 2pm. Registration time is 2.15 pm on Sunday and the retreat starts promptly after that at 2.30 pm. The whole retreat finishes at lunchtime on Saturday.

You can select from the delicious menu from Relish Restaurant at Noosa Springs Resort for breakfast and lunch or self-cater in your own apartment.

Noosa is just 30 minutes drive from the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) Airport. You can hire a car, taxi or shuttle to be taken to Noosa Springs Spa Resort. Or if you are flying into Brisbane, it is approx 1.5 hours drive to Noosa Springs.

CANCELLATION POLICY – RETREATS AND EVENTS 

Our cancellation policy balances the private and transformative experience Janet McGeever offers clients in her events with the obligations of the Australian Consumer Law and venue and event organisation requirements.  

By paying a deposit or the full cost of a service offered by Janet McGeever, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy. 

We recommend you secure travel insurance appropriate for your circumstances before purchasing. Janet McGeever is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat. 

Event cancellation: 

In the unlikely circumstance that Janet McGeever cancels an event, you will be notified in writing and if close to the event date, by telephone.  

You may transfer your full payment to another event or online course of your choice.  

You may also request a full refund. 

Participant cancellation:  

If you wish to cancel an event purchase, you must notify us in writing by emailing [email protected].  

Transfers: 

You may request to transfer any monies paid for an event to another event within two (2) years of your original registration. 

We will endeavour to fulfil your transfer request, pending event availability. 

Transfers incur an administration fee of the total event cost, based on the number of remaining days until the event commencement: 

• More than 121 days – 10% fee 

• Between 31-120 days – 25% fee 

• Less than 30 days – 50% fee 

Refunds:  

We understand that, at times, we are all affected by situations outside of our control.  

With this in mind, our refund policy provides above and beyond the required obligations of the Australian Consumer Law.   

We kindly offer the following refund amounts of the total event cost, based on the number of remaining days until the event commencement, dated from when your written notice of cancellation was received:  

• More than 121 days – 50% 

• Between 91-120 days – 40% 
• Less than 90 days – 0% refund  

Late arrivals and early departures 

We recommend that our events are attended for the entire duration to support you to make the most of the experience. Credits and partial refunds are not offered for participants arriving late or leaving early.
