The Retreat runs for four days and three nights, from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. We highly recommend staying on for one more night, to give time to integrate the beautiful learning and not be rushing on the last day. You will receive information about booking an extra night on registration.

You can book into your cabin from 3pm. Registration time at the group room is generally around 4pm on the Thursday and the retreat starts promptly after that. You will be informed of the specific registration time closer to the day. The retreat finishes at 4pm on Sunday.

Janet's Womantime Retreat is held in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland at The Ridge at Maleny, Queensland Australia.

You will fill in a registration form when you book where you can inform us about any allergies. Please advise us of any special requirements you may have including vegan diets – we will do our best to meet your needs. For every meal, we have a wonderful caterer who prepares a delicious and healthy set menu, mostly vegetarian and gluten-free food.

Due to the complexities of different dietary allergies and medical needs, we cannot cater for personal preferences. However, past participants have always been delighted with the array of nourishing food to choose from.

The Resort is approximately 1 hour 15 mins drive from Brisbane Airport, and 35 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport. If you need to be picked up from either airport we recommend booking with Sunny Coast LUX Transfers.

We understand that, at times, we are all affected by situations outside of our control. 

Our cancellation policy balances the private and transformative experience Janet McGeever offers clients in her events with the obligations of the Australian Consumer Law and venue and event organisation requirements.  

By paying a deposit or the full cost of a service offered by Janet McGeever, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy. 

We recommend you secure travel insurance appropriate for your circumstances before purchasing. Janet McGeever is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreat. 

Event cancellation: 

In the unlikely circumstance that Janet McGeever cancels an event, you will be notified in writing and if close to the event date, by telephone.  

You may transfer your full payment to another event or online course of your choice.  

You may also request a full refund. 

Participant cancellation:  

If you wish to cancel an event purchase, you must notify us in writing by emailing [email protected].  

Transfers: 

You may request to transfer any monies paid for an event to another event within two (2) years of your original registration. 

We will endeavour to fulfil your transfer request, pending event availability. 

Transfers incur an administration fee of the total event cost, based on the number of remaining days until the event commencement: 

• More than 121 days – 10% fee 

• Between 31-120 days – 25% fee 

• Less than 30 days – 50% fee 

Refunds:  

Our refund policy provides above and beyond the required obligations of the Australian Consumer Law.   

We kindly offer the following refund amounts of the total event cost, based on the number of remaining days until the event commencement, dated from when your written notice of cancellation was received:  

• More than 121 days – 50% 
• Between 91-120 days – 40%
• Less than 90 days – 0% refund  

Late arrivals and early departures 

We recommend that our events are attended for the entire duration to support you to make the most of the experience. Credits and partial refunds are not offered for participants arriving late or leaving early.
